. we're following breaking news from overnight. fire at a montgomery county hotel forces more than 100 people out of their rooms. we're live with what investigators are saying about this scary situation. and our other top stories this morning, revel needs a rescue, its owners says the house is about to go bus. we're hearing from the workers in morning. >> it is friday, june 20th, i'm erika von tiehl. >> i'm nicole brewer in for ukee this morning. >> "eyewitness news" report he jen bernstein joins us now with the latest, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, it was quite the wake up for guests here at the radisson hotel at the valley forge casino. just after 2:00 this morning, a fire was called in from the fifth floor of this hotel, and the fire department had to rush over here. now, luckily, police were on hand, to help evacuate this

building, as firefighters tried to figure out what exactly was going on around 150 people poured out, woken out of their beds, at king of prussia fire department tells us the fire was contained to one room on the fifth floor, it happened in a back aoun whitt their firefighters arrived the fire was actually already out thanks to the hotel sprinkler system. >> big thing here was the building, the sprinkler, originally when it was build, it was not, the sprinkler now probably saved some lives tonight. >> reporter: now there was minor water damage to surrounding rooms, and some smoke damage on the fifth floor. as for the fire, that was contained to one wall where the h vac unit is. now, people were out here for about 45 minutes before they were finally bet back in, and as i'm standing out here now slowly the lights are going off in each room as everyone does go back to bed. that's the latest from king of prussia, yearn bernstein. >> more breaking news right now, man found shot outside of northeast philadelphia sports

bar. it happened just before 3:00 outside of the ron day view restaurant and sports bar and rising sun avenue and levick street. the 20 year old victim was returned to einstein medical center where he is currently list in the stable condition. detectives are investigating whether the shooting is the result of mistaken identity. >> right after the bar closed, he was leaving work. he walked out the front door. he overheard someone yell don't shoot. and then he heard a gunshot and realized he was shot in the leg. >> there is no word on a motive. police continue their search for the gunman. now, new this morning, a three alarm fire destroys home in trenton. the fire on colonial avenue was reported just before midnight and spread quickly before firefighters placed it under control. this morning, the red cross is assisting four adults, and three children. 4:33, hoping for nice day today, katie? >> i can deliver. real nice weather here today, guys. actually off to much more comfortable start for one

thing, the moisture content in the air has really dropped off. so has the temperature. a live look for you here, center city, absolutely beautiful view for us here with all of the lights clearly visible, no problems seeing out there this morning, where we had some fog issues yesterday. you're not going to find anything like that here today. air mass simply too dry. going to storm scan3, you won't see heck of a lot out here either. it is nice and clear out there, any cloud cover that we did have overnight has long since dropped to the south. there is the frontal boundery we were tracking all day yesterday. very heavy thunderstorms just couple every counties away from our south most counties in delaware, however, really only ended up bringing us additional showers through the day yesterday in the wake of the early morning thunderstorms we were still tracking at this same time yesterdayment look at the difference in the temperature, you are really a lot cooler this morning, in allentown, at 17 degrees cooler, by comparison, to this same time yesterday. it is definitely not quite as noticeable just yet, millville, atlantic city, but it will get there as the cooler air mass works its way

cottman avenue. three lanes open, though, for your driving pleasure, as you roll out of the driveway this morning, all of the bridges looking good, benny, whitman, commodore barry, no problems at the moment. of course with the friday in the summertime events like this, fire fly music festival, down at dover downs, it was hot mess yesterday, where folks were flocking in, they wound up closing the exit here, off route one, so if you are headed to the festival today, i would wait until after 9:00, after the rush hour, before you can get in there. another alternate of course would be route 13, we have that 495 closure between exits two, three, with the weekend, folks heading to this delaware beaches, try the alternate here, go over the commodore barry, come down 295, then swing back over the delaware memorial. by going into new jersey you will avoid the back up, that is sure to occur today with a friday, rush hour, and then of course later on this afternoon everybody heading to the beaches for the weekend.

and of course, dart also running with 20 minute delays in wilmington itself, because of all of the extra volume pushed off to the detour, erika, back to you. >> bob, thank you. employees at the revel are worried about their jobs over the atlantic city casino after they filed for bankruptcy for the second time. the casino, which appeared -- which opened two years ago, is having some serious financial issues, the owners are looking for buyer for the struggling $2.4 billion casino. however, if a buyer can't be found, the casino could shutdown sometime this summer. a shame because it is beautiful inside. everything they have to offer is lovely. so i hope they do find somebody just so that it stays. >> revel's coo released a statement saying they will reach to find an owner to ensure revel's long-term financial stability. >> meetings on the crisis in iraq: president obama said sending as many as 300us

military advisors into the nation for so-called limited mission. the advisors will help gain intelligence on the sunni insurgent. and happening today, the son of convicted abortion doctor, kermit gosnell, has a preliminary hearing at a philadelphia courtroom. alexander, accused of breaking into mantua home earlier this month. resident shot him at least twice after he allegedly scuffled with another roommate. alexander faces multiple charges, including burglary, theft, and simple assault. well, summer season is getting started here in philadelphia with the opening of the city's pools. seventy pools and nine spray grounds opened today, the rest will open by the ends of june, now, all will be operational monday through friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., then weekends from 12:00 to 5:00. philadelphia parks and recreation also offers youth swim being lessons at several pools. well, as it starts to get hotter outside, peco will be

donating 600 fans to seniors across the region to help manage the heat and stay safe this summer. today loading 66 vehicles with 100 fans each to be contribute in the six counties around the region. peco will also be sharing information on low income programs, and energy saving tips for the summer. the method is -- appealing the outcome of 2013 trial, frank shaver goes before council members of the united methodist church in maryland later this morning. shaver, already served a 30 day suspension, but has not promised to give up officiating same sex ceremonies. a decision in that case is expected tomorrow. meantime the presbyterian church has vote today allow them to perform said sticks ceremonies where it is legal. can begin tomorrow. church changed its language to define marriage as between two persons and between a man and woman. the change still need to be approved by regional, they

back on "eyewitness news", real scare for ohio bus driver. check this out. the back ends of this bus swallowed up in a sinkhole. now, it happened outside the cincinnati zoo. the bus driver was pretty shaken up, as you can imagine, but not hurt. there were no passengers on board at the time. workers will now remove that bus, and have to patch up that crater. and, some breaking news for you in colorado, a triple shooting outside the famous red rocks amphitheatre outside denver. police say it happened after a concert by rapper noz, parts

of the area are now lockdown. the sheriff's office says they've not located a suspect. also in colorado this morning, cadaver dogs locate the body after person missing in this house explosion in thorton. eyewitnesses report hearing a blast, and then seeing a ball of flames and debris fly into the sky thursday. garden host toss try to put the fire out before firefighters arrived. unclear what led to the explosion, police have not identified the victim. well, he's got model good looks, but it is not a head shot that's got ladies swooning on line, it is his mugshot. thirty year old journey peaks arrested wednesday on weapons and game charges. police in stockton, california say that he's one of the most violent criminals in the area. but that hasn't stopped more than 36,000 people from liking his picture on facebook. most of the comments women talking about how attractive they find peaks, who spoke out from jail. >> well, i appreciate that, but i just want them to know

don't have the humidity creeping up. with the dew point no higher than 55, it will be very pleasant, comfortably warm. nice and seasonable, high hits 84 under abundant sunshine all day long. more clouds starting to build in later tonight. it is still seasonably cool, still quiet. today is the day likely dodge ago shower or two, this is not a wash out. if you have outdoor plans, keep them, expect to seymour clouds overhead, that's going to limit the amount of warming that takes place. only flirting with 80, not getting there most spots, 82 degrees by sunday, generally partly sunny, still have to throw in chance for very isolated shower. just can't rule it out. buy monday, tuesday, generally looks like it is dry, sunny, more seasonable, too, back to the mid 80s, at that point we start to see the humidity creeping back up. erika, back to you. >> thank you, one of the most watched videos on line right now, dog that went blind over joy to see its family after regaining his site. we sat down with malcolm and peggy may of west chester. they introduced us to duffy the irish terrier they rescued

looking good this morning, no problems at all coming into or out of philadelphia. so at least off to good start for our friday morning. of course, friday means, we will be headed to the shore. no problems at all currently up and down that atlantic city expressway, the parkway looking good, even the back roads, like 47, route nine, route 47, they're making the deliveries for the mallen sticky buns up and down route nine. couldn't we go for some of those. manayunk arts festival this weekend, will sends detours, block main street here, through manayunk. septa's going to push the buses through main street, on a detour, as well. and busy weekend at the stadium area. the soul playing some football. then smack down wrestle mania there coming -- not wrestle mania, wwe coming to town sunday night. that sunday night event will impact everybody coming back from the shore, also, have a triathelon in town here, which

"eyewitness news" reporter jen bernstein joins us now in king of prussia with the latest information, jen, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, erika. things are getting back to normal here at the radisson hotel at the valley forge casino, but just little while ago, couple of hours ago, guests here did have a rough wake up when the fire alarm went off about 2:15, fire was reported on the fifth floor, of the hotel, and the fire department had to respond here, luckily, police were already on hand, helping evacuate the building, while the fire department tried to figure out what exactly was going on inside. we should have video from earlier of firefighters here on the scene, as people stood outside
